Discussing Digital Changes Lunchtime Webinars -14 -18 September 2020
Last week 14-18 September we held our Discussing Digital Changes Lunchtime Webinar week, hosting five fascinating lunchtime sessions discussing the latest digital developments. Sharing insights from experienced practitioners both from within SCW, and partners across health and care, discussions covered a range of areas from the progress on shared care records, to the rise of the Chief Analytical Officer role, Personal Health Records and the move to person-centred care, through to diversity and allyship in the digital workforce. The week of thought provoking webinars finished with an engaging session looking to the future and the power of innovation to transform digital solutions to meet the key health and care challenges.
The tone of the week was set by our opening speaker Shauna McMahon, Director of Transformation (Digital), who welcomed us to ‘A week of digital deliciousness’. The sessions throughout the week certainly lived up to this introduction, with almost 400 people able to join us for the webinars across the week .
The success of the sessions is summed up by a comment from one of our attendees:
“Great session - really interesting to hear about what SCW is doing in this area, and thought provoking in terms of how we can all play our part. Thank you.”
