Launching the new LHCRE in Thames Valley and Surrey

Thames Valley and Surrey LHCRE launch event

More than 100 colleagues from across the health and care system discuss the new Local Health and Care Record Exemplar (LHCRE) development

Over 100 people attended the Digital Transformation in Thames Valley and Surrey (TVS) event on Monday 16th July.  The event provided a great opportunity to discuss ideas and key issues for the development of the Local Health and Care Record Exemplar across the area, with TVS selected as one of 5 'LHCREs' across England.  The break-out sessions on Care Pathways, Patient and Public Engagement, and Population Health Management were all extremely valuable in surfacing key issues and principles for the programme, and the outputs will be used to shape how the programme develops.

The main presentations from the day can be found here:

Nigel Foster, SRO: Becoming a LHCRE

Information from each of the Area Leads on the current care records programmes across the area, which the TVS LHCRE will support to develop and connect up across the area:

The programme will be fully established over the summer and  more information about how to inform and engage in the development will be shared.  An on-line collaboration space using the FutureNHS site is planned to support joint work across the multiple partners.
