SCW runs an excellent graduate management scheme, offering a unique opportunity for graduates to help transform the way health services work for patients. Our role is to provide support, professional expertise and insight to clinical commissioners – the people and organisations that define, structure and ultimately provide healthcare to our population: building better care together.
Our Graduate Management Scheme is a two year scheme offering candidates action based learning and professional development in areas ranging from areas such as Transformation and Consultancy, Business Intelligence, Finance, Human Resources and Information Governance, giving graduates the opportunity for hands-on business training.
Candidates will be aligned to a set service line, spending time in a range of teams or projects related to and interlinking with that service. This allows candidates to experience the breadth and depth of SCW services. All this will be teamed with an ongoing learning and development programme, including activities such as:
- Masterclasses delivered by specialists within the business
- Action Learning Sets
- Activities relating to the wider healthcare economy, such as joint projects
- Industry specific professional qualifications.
Our graduate scheme is not for everyone.
We operate in the commissioning support sector which is still a developing and challenging environment. In the commercial landscape in which we find ourselves, our clients don’t have to use us. Instead they choose to use us, because we deliver quality and value and because we help them to make a difference. With this in mind, we’re looking for ambitious and driven graduates who are keen to take the initiative and get things done in a resourceful and efficient manner.
Values matter to us, which is why we’re looking for aspirational, collaborative, insightful and respectful people who’ll help us achieve our vision and put patients first. Find out more about SCW values.
