In launching the Framework accreditation process, NHS England stated:

“To fully achieve the transformation identified in the NHS Five Year Forward View, STPs and Integrated Care Systems will need to supplement their core capabilities with more advanced innovations and solutions, including tools to identify patients who are at high risk of an adverse event and are likely to be amendable to a particular intervention (i.e. ‘impactable’ patients), electronic patient records that give clinicians across all care settings a full picture of their patient’s health and well-being, tools to support the monitoring of wider system programmes and enhanced tools to integrate clinical workflow with patient activation data to ensure patients are being treated in the right place at the right time.  Most of all, it will require a fundamental cultural shift in how clinicians, managers and patients use (and are supported to embed) these new digital technologies, data tools and innovations to deliver meaningful change on the ground for patients.”

Access to the HSS Framework is a result of a competitive tender process managed earlier this year by NHS England. The Framework enables our customers to access the products, services and unique partnerships they require at competitive rates and with assured quality and expertise as we support them through their transformational journey to becoming Integrated Care Systems.

SCW scored well in all Lots, but scored ‘excellent’ within the following sections:

  • Digital Transformation and Local Health Care Records (LHCR)
  • Information governance for integrated systems
  • Analytics to inform clinical decisions
  • Transformation and change support
  • Patient empowerment and activation, and
  • Demand management and capacity planning support.

“This is fantastic news and represents a very positive step in the journey to develop our business, to meet the needs of the care system and become the partner of choice for customers working on STP and ICS models. The enormous amount of work involved in responding to the tender has paid off and I’d like to thank all those involved once again for producing a submission that showcases the breadth and depth of SCW’s talent and experience so brilliantly.”
