Their presentation followed a session delivered by Jocelyn Palmer, SCW’s Programme Manager for Connecting Care, sharing the evolution and development of the award-winning Connecting Care programme, which integrates data across 13 organisations in Greater Bristol to deliver a single integrated digital care record (IDCR).
The programme was selected as an IDCR Exemplar by NHS England in 2014, and currently has 2,000 users from clinicians, nurses crisis teams, occupational therapists, GPs, pharmacists, social workers and out-of-hours GPs to pathologists, anaesthetists, and ambulance and A&E staff. The session included recent developments, including the integration of child social care data to improve safeguarding and EMIS single-sign-on to boost GP adoption.
