An expert in primary care with experience as a practice / fundholding manager, Alison has lectured on the Red Book Primary Care contract, implementation of the GMS contract and general practice management. Former Head of Primary Care in Oxford City PCT before joining the NHS Commissioning Board (NHS England) to produce the national operating model for the Quality Premium.
Alison and her team support CCGs, practices and NHS England across a range of primary care services including the national Clinical Pharmacist in General Practice pilot for NHS England, transactional service consolidation for NHS England regional teams, the provision of management support to Locally Commissioned Services to 8 CCGs, and supporting practices to develop at-scale organisational forms.
