The DLP allows data to be transferred securely between organisations using a centrally managed web platform.  It facilitates the standardisation of local data transfers nationally by providing automated checking against DSCRO-defined data flow specifications.

From 1st April 2019 SCW will be transitioning to the DLP for Patient level datasets and beginning the phase out of submissions to DSCRO mailboxes. Providers and Commissioners are encouraged to start working with the DLP project group to start the transition process.
