Work placements
Looking for a fantastic way to gain insight into a career in the NHS? We welcome those seeking their first work experience, and placements here at SCW are short-term opportunities that can give you that vital experience.
Some NHS jobs are ‘clinical’, which means they are directly related to patients and their treatment. Some are ‘non-clinical’ i.e. administration, finance etc. It can be valuable to get non-clinical work experience here at SCW, even if you hope to end up in a clinical career. We're able to offer a rich diversity of experiences as we employ over 1,400 people who work with over 60 frontline NHS organisations.
